INTRAMUROS The Walled City of Manila

Of all the places that I was excited of coming back to in Manila, it was the walled city of Intramuros that excited me most. I remember how amazed I was by all the beautiful buildings left by the Spaniards when they colonized the Philippines for 400 years.

Boobs

In all my several visits to Batu Caves, I had never really paid attention to any of the monkeys, probably because I thought ‘monkey is monkey’. They all look the same. But this one really caught my attention.

Now I know monkeys DO have boobs. I mean, seriously. I didn’t know. Or rather, I didn’t notice. And they actually don’t look bad huh?

Conquering the East Tabur

So, after conquering the west part of Bukit Tabur not once but twice, I decided to take it to another level by conquering the relatively tougher East Tabur last Saturday.

I think we were a little bit overambitious by going there in the wee hours, expecting to make it to the top in time for the sunrise. After learning our lesson at the Broga Hill when we were obliged to literally teeter in the dark and put ourselves in danger, we did bring some source of lights to lead the way for us this time.
