I really like Kelantan<\/strong><\/a>. Despite being the most Islamic state in Malaysia (95% Muslims), Islam hasn\u2019t really vanquished some of the older beliefs among the people- apparently \u2013 so it\u2019s quite common that you\u2019d see somebody drawing a big crowd of people by selling stuffs with so-called medicinal substances, usually embellished with all kinds of make-believe stories, <\/em>usually superstitious <\/em>theories and all.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I first heard about elephant sperm when a friend of mine posted something about it on facebook \u2013 that he could never imagine somebody even has the will of doing something to make <\/em>an elephant splosh<\/em>. LOL.<\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t really know nor did I pursue to know what it was \u2013 or rather what it was for \u2013 until somebody came up with ONE when I was in Kota Bharu<\/strong><\/a> recently. And yes \u2013 ONE doesn\u2019t mean one tiny drop of sperm but rather one tiny piece of stone. Looking at it, or rather, touching it with my bear hand, it was hard to believe that it was actually a solidified chunk of elephant sperm \u2013 or so I was told.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I found the theory of its formation quite amusing. Forget about sploshing an elephant – you\u2019ll die under the feet of the giant mammal before you get it done. I was told that the female elephant has this bad habit of kicking the male elephant right before ejaculation so the male elephant ends up spraying it all onto the ground and if they\u2019re left untouched for quite a long period of time, they\u2019ll solidify into pieces of hard stones.\"\"<\/a>And whoever finds them would be a damn lucky man. A ring studded with elephant sperm can be used to attract women \u2013 even the impossibles <\/em>as I was told \u2013 and if there was one challenge that you\u2019d have to go through in order to make it work, it would be to find a chance to have it rubbed on the skin of your target. Oh well, however you think it can be done is up to your creativity. I wouldn\u2019t contribute any idea in this. Har har. But once it is done \u2013 or so I was told \u2013 voila! She\u2019s all yours. \ud83d\ude00\"\"<\/a>I was told that each piece of elephant sperm is sold at about MYR200 – MYR500 \u2013 although the term \u2018sold\u2019 is not really the right word according to them because it is more like a gift and the money is more like just a token of appreciation.<\/p>\n

They obviously took pity on me for the fact that I haven\u2019t yet married at this age (FIY, not married at 30\u2019s are quite unusual in Malay culture) that I was actually offered a piece of it at MYR60!<\/p>\n
