Warung Beta is a food stall located in the less-traveled west part of Ubud. It offers you the breath-taking beauty of Ubud countryside at a very close proximity to an expansive paddy field.<\/p>\n

My travel partner Ulai was overjoyed when we got there. I just watched helplessly as she dashed right across the paddy field, much to the amusement of the people around us.<\/p>\n

Even to get to the toilet requires you to walk a little bit across the paddy field. Surrounded by beautiful paddy, it was without doubt one of the most picturesque toilets I\u2019ve ever seen.<\/p>\n

Ulai wasn\u2019t really happy about the idea of taking a picture with a toilet in the back ground but then with a beautiful view like this, who cares about the damn toilet\u00a0right<\/em>? \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

And I tell you \u2013 the smell of air when you\u2019re in the middle of a paddy field in Ubud is just so refreshing and probably \u2013 don\u2019t mind my exaggerated term \u2013\u00a0rejuvenating<\/em>? Hehe. Yeah, rejuvenating. I call it the smell of countryside. It is the kind of smell that I\u2019d long to inhale every time I\u2019m forced to walk in the suffocating air of the Kuala Lumpur. I was just a perfect place to do a little bit of meditation. Heh.<\/p>\n

And that smell of countryside \u2013 together with the green and beautiful surrounding \u2013 and a cup of hot\u00a0Kopi Bali<\/em> to sip over \u2013 it was when PERFECTION is defined at its best.<\/p>\n

We could see the farmers preparing to go home after a day of hard labor and some of them herding their\u00a0bibiks<\/em> (ducks) back to the barn. They must be hundreds and hundreds of them all quacking at the same time sending a pandemonium of noises across the paddy field. It really was so fun to watch.<\/p>\n

I wish we could stay there longer but then any good thing has to come to an end, whether you like it or not.<\/p>\n

We returned to\u00a0Jati Home Stay and Gallery<\/strong><\/a> to get prepared for dinner. It would be our last dinner in Ubud so we wanted to make it a little bit special. Special indeed, there couldn\u2019t be any other place to make it more special than this place called Bunute. All in next post.<\/p>\n
