It\u2019s been awhile. I had been too tied down to so many concerns about the future of my country that I couldn\u2019t even bring myself to do anything more fruitfu<\/em>l than ranting and swearing of what is happening in this beautiful country of ours. Now that it is all over (is it?), I wanna get back to what I have always considered one of the best therapies that a bachelor like me could do \u2013 blogging. Ahaks!<\/p>\n

Then I remembered, I haven\u2019t really blogged about a place that I went to with mom and niece not so long time ago.<\/p>\n

Bukit Tinggi<\/strong> is located very much in the vicinity of KL, probably some 50 kilometers which only takes you about half hour to drive to if not for the ziz-zagging access road.\u00a0 I mean, it really is a zig-zag that you need to be extra cautioned and focused on the road if you want to arrive there in one piece.<\/p>\n

Of course, nothing comes for free nowadays. Entering the resort area requires you to fish some twelve bucks out of your pocket. But let\u2019s just say that you are paying for the parking which is actually FOC. Heh.<\/p>\n

I gotta say that there\u2019s nothing much to do in Bukit Tinggi although I did see signboards mentioning something about hiking, flying fox etc. Of course, what is not there to do is compensated by what there is to see.<\/strong> It is more like a place where you can just lepak<\/em> around and take in the beautiful surrounding and cooling highland atmosphere.<\/p>\n

The resort was built after another resort in France – also of the same name (Colmar Tropicale).<\/strong> True enough, it really makes you feel like you\u2019re somewhere in Europe. Even the pavement is so European.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the stunning architecture, Bukit Tinggi has been gaining popularity among couples who come here in hordes to do rounds of pre-wedding photo shoots and all.<\/p>\n

Part of the beauty is of course attributed to its location which is perched atop a spread of hills surrounded by greenery which at times obscured d by layers of clouds and mists. The view is something to die for.<\/p>\n

I could see a golf field which makes Bukit Tinggi even more appealing to those who are into that shitty sport.<\/p>\n

Kidding. I actually like golf too. \ud83d\ude1b<\/p>\n

The air is cool but not to the extent that makes you shiver. It is just perfect. Bukit Tinggi, apart from the main resort itself, consists of smaller hotels that offer a variety of rooms with different decorations and rates.<\/p>\n

There are a variety of bars and restaurants to choose from. Some of them offer live entertainment to make your lepaking<\/em> more relaxing and fun.<\/p>\n

Despite the lack of activities offered at Bukit Tinggi, I\u2019d still say it is a good alternative to its bustling neighbor Genting Highland.<\/p>\n
